Erica Wong

Piano Teacher

Erica Yuk-Man Wong is a highly skilled musician with many years of performance and teaching experience. She received her Bachelors Diploma from the Open University of Hong Kong in 2012 and then went on to study for a Licentiate Diploma with Trinity College of Music London in Piano Performance (LTCL). Erica has also studied Music theory with the Associate Board of The Royal School of Music and gained her Grade 8 Music Theory in 2007.

Erica took her first piano lessons at the age of seven and fell in love with the instrument. She later studied with the world renown concert pianist Dr Helen Cha in Hong Kong. From there Erica has spent her life developing as a professional pianist of the highest standard.

As an active musician, Erica has been invited to be the piano accompanist in many international music competitions such as the HsinChu music competition and the annual International Recorder Competition in Taiwan. Erica has also been a judge at many international level piano competitions held in Asia.

Erica now resides in the UK and has been teaching here for several years. She is experienced in teaching students of all ages from preliminary to advanced levels. As well as classical Piano repertoire, Erica has special interests in jazz piano music and is able to teach all styles to the highest levels. As well as teaching, Erica is also a church keyboardist and teaches pipe organ and provides training to up and coming church organists throughout the UK.

Erica knows the joy music can bring into peoples lives and she hopes her students will develop the same love of music she has.
